Philip: Our Sports Scientist, Philip has a Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Science under his belt.
Philip has experience in various physiology, nutritional and biochemical areas. This includes how to properly form diet plans, conducting numerous exercise tests and also determining and analysing data sets, helping improvement with individual sporting performance for “professional athletes” and “everyday people.”
He continues to help individual athletes and teams to improve their sporting performance through the use of scientific knowledge, methods and applications in the areas of physiology; biomechanics; psychology; as well as motor control and motor development. The founding of the research is evaluated, advice and training is provided on the technical and practical aspects of training; injury prevention; technique; nutritional supplements; performance and recovery practices. Our Sports scientist work at all levels of sport.
Philip uses a discipline that studies how the healthy human body works during exercise, and how sport and physical activity promote health from cellular to whole body perspectives. The study of sports science traditionally incorporates areas of physiology (exercise physiology), psychology (sport psychology), anatomy, biomechanics, biochemistry and biokinetics.
Through the study of science and sport, research has developed a greater understanding on how the human body reacts to exercise, training, different environments and many other stimuli.
